Greece held to account on groundwater and waste
Greece has been condemned by the European court of justice for slipshod implementation of EU laws on protecting groundwaters from pollution and on hazardous waste management. The case derives from a complaint made to the European Commission 13 years ago alleging poor environmental management in the Thriassion Pedion region.
