Finland plans to meet Kyoto emissions target
The Finnish government issued a plan to meet its Kyoto greenhouse gas target during the period 2008-12 on Thursday. A heavy responsibility is to be placed on companies in the EU emission trading scheme. The government said it would improve competitiveness of Finnish companies by reducing industrial electricity tax.
