Industry welcomes EU all-clear for phthalates
European makers of phthalates have seized on newly published EU risk assessments of two of the widely used plasticising chemicals as marking an end to ten years of debate over their use. The assessments of DINP and DIDP “provide confirmation of safety for users across Europe”, said trade body Ecpi.
