German regulator urges binding energy standards
Germany’s environment agency is pushing for the EU to adopt legally-binding rather than voluntary standards to improve the energy efficiency of electronic goods. The standards will form a major part of the EU’s energy efficiency action plan and will be brought in through the EuP directive (EED 19/10/06).
