Ireland unveils new strategy to meet Kyoto target

Ireland will meet its ambitious Kyoto target by implementing fresh policies to reduce emissions at home and buying in a significant number of carbon credits from abroad, according to a new national climate change strategy for 2007-12 published on Monday.
