First EUP directive studies completed
The first studies paving the way for EU minimum energy efficiency standards for a wide range of energy-using products have been completed. The European commission will develop formal proposals based on the findings. The two studies, on street lighting and chargers, will be followed by 17 others later this year (EED 24/01/07).
