Swedish green spending on the rise
Environmental spending in Sweden will increase by almost 10 per cent next year from its 2006 level, according to a government budget announced on Monday. Expenditure will rise from SKr 4.6bn (€500m) last year to SKr 5bn (€543m) in 2008, the environment ministry said.
