Italian parliament to discuss energy revolution
The Italian parliament's environment committee has set out a comprehensive action plan aimed at helping Italy comply with greenhouse gas reduction targets under the Kyoto protocol. Among the proposals in a resolution adopted last Thursday are a ban on the sale household appliances ranked below A on the EU energy efficiency labelling scale.
