December deadline for major EU climate package

The European commission is planning to adopt a major package of climate-related legislative proposals in early December, ENDS has learned. The package will include proposed burden-sharing targets to meet new EU greenhouse gas reduction and renewable energy objectives for 2020.

The Danish government presents the programme of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union ‘Europe at work'
