EU green liability regime far from completion

Nineteen of the EU's 27 member states have still not implemented a major EU law applying the polluter-pays principle to environmental incidents, six months after a deadline to do so, it has emerged.

Danish presidency programme

The Danish government presents the programme of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union ‘Europe at work'

Denmark took over the presidency of the EU on 1 January.
