MEPs call for beefed-up EU pesticide strategy
The EU's thematic strategy on pesticide use adopted last year should be extended to include quantitative use reduction targets, the European parliament has argued in a non-legislative resolution adopted on Wednesday. But MEPs backed the commission's decision not to propose an EU pesticide tax.
