Spanish industry to get extra time on IPPC
Spanish industrial installations are to get an extra six months to obtain pollution permits compliant with EU legislation under plans announced by the government. The move is designed to ease a huge backlog of permit applications following the passing last Tuesday of a key deadline under the EU integrated pollution prevention and control (IPPC) directive.
