Norway's CCS leadership drive stumbles

Norway's efforts to carve out a reputation as a leader in carbon capture and storage (CCS) were dented this week after the government shelved plans to store emissions from the test phase of a CCS plant being developed at Mongstad on its west coast. The firms behind the project have also delayed an investment decision on the plan.
