New EU chemical export rules enter force
Revised EU rules on the export of dangerous chemicals entered force at the start of August following publication in the bloc's official journal. The new regulations reverse an existing ban on European firms exporting the most dangerous chemicals without the explicit consent of receiving countries. But strict conditions will apply to exports sent without this consent.
