MEP scrambles to secure deal on car CO2 curbs
Members of the European parliament's environment committee were trying to hammer out a last-minute compromise late on Wednesday on draft EU legislation to cut carbon dioxide emissions from new cars. The committee will vote on the plans on Thursday morning.
