EU economic rescue plan puts focus on efficiency

The European commission has proposed a major European economic recovery package that would refocus attention on energy efficiency and greener products.  It would also give financial aid to the automobile industry through a new "green cars" initiative.

Danish presidency programme

The Danish government presents the programme of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union ‘Europe at work'

Denmark took over the presidency of the EU on 1 January.
