Seven SVHCs put forward for Reach authorisation

Seven of 15 chemicals identified as "very high concern" substances (SVHCs) last year should be subject to priority authorisation under the EU's Reach policy, the European chemicals agency (Echa) recommended on Wednesday (EE 29/10/08).
