EU urged to adopt long-term climate objectives
European leaders must commit to cutting emissions by up to 80 per cent, improve energy efficiency by 35 per cent and increase the share of renewables in final energy consumption to 60 per cent by 2050, the parliament's industry committee said on Wednesday.
