Facing up to the enforcement challenge

If a picture tells a thousand words, then the sight of thousands of tonnes of uncollected waste lining the streets of Italy's Campania region in late 2007 did more than any report to highlight the ongoing problem of enforcing environmental rules.

Danish presidency programme

The Danish government presents the programme of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union ‘Europe at work'
