HCFC phase-out confirmed for 2020 in ODS deal
The production of hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) will be banned in the EU from 2020, as part of a deal reached last week by MEPs and EU governments on proposals to revise the bloc's rules on ozone-depleting substances (ODS) (EE 04/08/08).
