Germany's emissions fell by 1.2 per cent in 2008

Greenhouse gas emissions in Germany fell by 1.2 per cent last year, according to figures released by the German government on Sunday. This is a relatively modest drop compared to 2007, especially given industrial contraction was a factor in the decline (EE 11/03/08).
