New German tyre ecolabel exceeds EU standards
Two new environmental criteria for awarding Germany's Blue Angel ecolabel to tyres have been agreed, according to German federal environment agency UBA. The criteria are more stringent than proposed EU green tyre standards for 2012 (EE 18/02/09).
