MEPs demand end to REACH asbestos exemptions
The European Commission must develop a strategy to end by 2015 exemptions to a ban on asbestos under EU chemical rules (REACH), MEPs said in a resolution adopted on Thursday. MEPs were meeting for the last time before June's parliament elections.
