EU climate and energy laws hit statute book

New EU laws on renewable energy, emissions trading, passenger car emissions, carbon capture and storage (CCS) and fuel quality will enter force in the coming weeks after their publication in the bloc's official journal on Friday.

Danish presidency programme

The Danish government presents the programme of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union ‘Europe at work'

Denmark took over the presidency of the EU on 1 January.
