Europe’s drinks carton recycling rate edges upwards

EU countries plus Norway and Switzerland recycled 33% of the beverage cartons sold in 2008, according to producers’ association ACE. This represents a tiny step forward against the previous year’s recycling rate of 32% (EE 03/07/08).
