Call for aligning EU impact assessment directives

The EU should align its two environmental impact assessment directives to clarify their relationship and remove overlaps, according to a consultancy report. Similar recommendations were made several years ago (EE 18/11/05).

Danish presidency programme

The Danish government presents the programme of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union ‘Europe at work'

Denmark took over the presidency of the EU on 1 January.
