Spain risks fines over breaches of EU nature laws
The European Commission is sending a final written warning to Spain for failing to comply with a European court ruling on a Segarra-Garrigues irrigation project in Catalonia. Judges said the project breached EU nature protection laws (EE 20/12/07).
