EU ponders action on VAT fraud in carbon market
The European Commission is considering EU measures to tackle VAT fraud in the carbon market. The most likely solution is to introduce a "reverse-charge mechanism" transferring the obligation to pay VAT from the seller to the buyer, a spokeswoman told ENDS.
