New parliament 'likely to adopt pro-green stance'

The European Parliament is likely to take a pro-green stance on environmental issues over the next five years, resulting in "major battles" with the other EU institutions, according to an analysis published by the Swedish Institute for European Studies (SIEPS) last week.
