EU tables weakened plan to cut emissions from vans
European manufacturers of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) such as vans would have to reduce average emissions from new vehicles to 175 grams per kilometre from 2014 phased in to 2016 under a draft regulation tabled by the European Commission on Wednesday.
