New scheme to cut UK manufacturing emissions

The UK's Carbon Trust launched a new £15m (€16.75m) scheme on Monday to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions from Britain's manufacturing sector. The four-year scheme could save businesses up to €560m in energy costs, the agency said.
