Barroso defines priorities for new commissioners
Climate commissioner Connie Hedegaard will be responsible for overseeing efforts to achieve the EU's CO2 target and to link its emissions trading scheme to other national cap-and-trade schemes, according to a mission letter written by European Commission president José Manuel Barroso.
