New concerns over HFO refrigerant in Germany
The German Federal Environment Agency (UBA) has come out in favour of CO2-based refrigerant R744 as a replacement for HFC-134a in mobile air conditioning systems after tests raised new safety concerns over another alternative, HFO-1234yf.
