Geothermal aims for 20% market share by 2050
The geothermal sector should make a transition to enhanced geothermal systems (EGS) by 2030 to provide 20% of Europe's primary energy supply by 2050, according to a draft vision statement issued by the European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC).
