EU ETS emissions fall by 11% in 2009

Greenhouse gas emissions from companies in the EU's carbon trade scheme fell by 233 million tonnes, or 11%, in 2009 compared with 2008, according to carbon market analyst Point Carbon on Thursday. Emissions had fallen by 4-6% the previous year.
