New call to cut CO2 by more than 20% by 2020
The EU could and should cut its emissions by 30-40% by 2020, according a study published by Dutch researchers from CE Delft for the Greens/EFA group in the European Parliament. The impacts of the recession on CO2 must be taken into account, it says.
