Belgium faces €15m EU fine over wastewater
Belgium faces an EU fine of more than €15m and a daily fine of nearly €62,000 for ignoring a 2004 court ruling urging the member state to comply with the 1991 urban wastewater treatment directive. Forty agglomerations remain non-compliant.
