SOx pollution sees sharp decline in EU – EEA
EU emissions of sulphur oxides (SOx) fell by 20% in 2008, according to an annual emission inventory report released on Monday. These reports are required under the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution (LRTAP).
