EC announces green research funding for 2011

EU COMMISSION

A total of €210m will be devoted to EU energy research next year including €137m for renewable energy and €50m for smart grids, the European Commission has said. Energy efficiency and CO2 capture projects will receive €36 and €15m respectively.
