Ministers back SME-focused innovation policy

Competitiveness ministers meeting in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, last week have backed calls for giving small companies (SMEs) a more prominent role in EU innovation policy. This would help them overcome existing barriers to eco-innovation, the ministers said.
