France adopts new sustainable development plan

A new French sustainable development strategy for the period 2010-13 was adopted on Tuesday by a government committee headed by environment minister Jean-Louis Borloo. The aim is to guide policies at local, national and international levels.

The Danish government presents the programme of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union ‘Europe at work'

Denmark took over the presidency of the EU on 1 January.
