The EU's chief scientific advisory committee on environmental risks (Scher) has called for more testing before the bloc takes risk reduction measures for tert-butyl hydroperoxide, a chemical mainly used as an intermediate. "Logic" suggests there should instead be more testing, Scher concluded on 14 December. See opinion and risk assessment.
