Danes concerned by farming impacts
A Gallup poll commissioned by the Danish society for nature conservation (DN) has found that nearly 50% of Danes are "dissatisfied" with the environmental performance of the agricultural sector. Two-thirds of the sample said they would accept higher food prices in return for "more eco-friendly farming practices that put the protection of nature and the environment first", DN said in a statement. The poll was conducted in connection with a collection of articles on "the socioeconomic significance of agriculture from an environmental perspective" published by DN on Monday.
