Environment "a top concern for Danes"
A survey of attitudes to safety finds "no doubt" that environmental concerns top the Danish public's list of perceived hazards, the environmental protection agency (EPA) reported on Tuesday. "We worry both about things that are close to us - what we eat and breathe - and about the state of the environment generally", the agency said. Such worries led a field of a dozen issues including unemployment, road deaths, crime and terrorism. The survey results strongly echo a recent EU-wide opinion poll (EED 02/05/05). See EPA newsletter and reports one and two.
