Green energy partnership funds new projects
The Renewable energy and energy efficiency partnership (Reeep) on Tuesday announced funding of just over €1m for 18 new projects. Launched by the UK in 2002, Reeep is now funded by eight governments and the European Commission (EED 23/10/03). Half the new projects focus on policy development and half on developing new financing techniques. Two-thirds are aimed at renewables and one-third at improving energy efficiency. Two projects are in EU member countries Poland and the Czech Republic. See press release.
