EU "has few green policy integration leaders"
The European environment agency has picked out the governments of the UK, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands as leaders in integrating environmental concerns into day-to-day administration. Few other European countries have managed to reflect the EU's "Cardiff process" goal of environmental policy integration in their administration cultures, the EEA concludes. This is the agency's second report in a month on the Cardiff process (EED 08/06/05). See press release and the report.
