WWF issues yet more chemicals in blood data
Green group WWF on Thursday released further blood testing data showing the presence of many hazardous chemicals at low levels. The group called the findings shocking. "How much more evidence is needed before industry and European politicians accept that these hazardous chemicals cannot be adequately controlled". Europe's brominated flame retardant industry - one of WWF's main targets - hit back. Despite WWF's "alarmist rhetoric", its report actually confirms that there is no consumer health risk from the three main commercially used retardants, it claimed.
