European offshore wind strategy proposed

Policy makers from several EU states have recommended actions to achieve faster development of offshore wind power in Europe. It also calls for measures to guarantee the transmission and distribution of electricity produced from renewable energy sources. A steering committee will meet in six months to review progress made on the recommendations. See press release and strategy.
