EU greenhouse gas emissions fell by 1.2% in 2007
EU greenhouse gas emissions declined for the third consecutive year in 2007, according to figures published by the European Environment Agency (EEA) on Friday. The fall was mainly driven by lower use of fossil fuels in households and services, the agency said.
