Poland criticised over U-turn on plastic bag tax
Green groups in Poland have strongly criticised the government's decision to drop a proposal to introduce a tax on plastic bags in a draft law on packaging waste. The initial plan was to impose a fee of PLN0.20-0.40 (€0.05-0.10) per plastic bag used in retail.
